IDDA: Foreign venture fund to accelerate local startups' global market access

The entry of a new foreign venture fund into Azerbaijan's innovation ecosystem will accelerate the integration of local startups into the global market, Farid Osmanov, chairman of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), said at the INMerge 2025 Innovation Summit, organized by PASHA Holding in Baku, Report informs.
According to him, IDDA is taking new steps to expand startups' access to venture capital opportunities: "White Hill Capital's venture fund has proven its effectiveness in regional investments, and in the near future, Azerbaijan's ecosystem will also benefit from this fund's resources."
During the summit, IDDA and White Hill Capital will sign a founding agreement to establish a new venture capital firm in Azerbaijan.
