ChatGPT's market share on computers in Azerbaijan declines for fourth consecutive month

In August 2025, the market share of the AI chatbot ChatGPT across all platforms in Azerbaijan-including computers, mobile devices, and tablets-stood at 94.58%, Report informs, citing the Statcounter.

According to the latest data, this represents a decrease of 1.52 percentage points compared to July.

Microsoft Copilot ranked second with a market share of 2.83%, up 1.13 percentage points from the previous month.

Perplexity followed in third place, increasing its share by 0.55 percentage points to reach 1.23%.

Google Gemini came in fourth, with its market share dropping by 0.02 percentage points to 1.05%.

Claude rounded out the top five with a 0.25% share, down 0.20 percentage points from July.

Based on platform-specific data, the top five AI chatbots in Azerbaijan are as follows:

On Computers:

- ChatGPT – 93.99% (down 1.57 percentage points from July). This marks the fourth consecutive month of decline, with a total drop of 3%.

- Microsoft Copilot – 3.22% (up 1.26 percentage points);

- Perplexity – 1.32% (up 0.54 percentage points);

- Google Gemini – 1.1% (down 0.14 percentage points);

- Claude – 0.29% (down 0.17 percentage points);

On Mobile Devices:

- ChatGPT – 97.69% (down 1.88 percentage points);

- Microsoft Copilot – 0.77% (-);

- Perplexity – 0.77% (-);

- Google Gemini – 0.77% (-);
