Azerbaijan recorded 13-fold surge in desktop output in August

In January-August of 2025, Azerbaijan produced 1,430 laptops and 2,365 desktop computers, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistical Committee.
These figures represent an 11.9% decrease in laptop production and a 2.4-fold increase in desktop computer output compared to the same period last year.
In August alone, 221 desktop computers were manufactured, which is 13 times more year-on-year. No laptops were produced in the past two months.
Overall, Azerbaijan produced 1,715 laptops and 2,139 desktop computers in 2024. Compared to 2023, this marks a threefold increase in laptop production and a 43.3% decrease in desktop output.
