Azerbaijan, Iran mull creating working group in ICT

The creation of a working group to strengthen ICT cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran has been discussed.

Report informs that the discussions took place during a meeting between the Azerbaijani Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, and Iran's Minister of Communications and Information Technologies, Sattar Hashemi, who is visiting Azerbaijan to participate in the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-25).

During the meeting, cooperation opportunities in the ICT field between the two countries were discussed. Views were exchanged on expanding the regulatory and legal framework related to strengthening the partnership.

At the meeting, the sides agreed to continue the successful cooperation between the two countries in the ICT field, especially in frequency coordination.
