ADA University ranked among ICPC's strongest universities

ADA University is among the leading universities participating in the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC), President of the ICPC Foundation Bill Poucher said at a press conference dedicated to the ICPC World Finals, which is taking place in Baku, Report informs.

"The final ranking includes 139 teams. But it is important to remember: more than 63,000 students from over 3,300 universities in 93 countries competed for the right to be here. ADA University is among them, and along with it, several other universities in Azerbaijan," Poucher noted.

According to him, each person is unique and valuable, and each culture is inimitable and priceless.

"Baku is an amazing city with a rich history. Take its old town, for example: it was thriving and civilized when Europe was just starting to discover a new world. It changes our perception. The hospitality with which we were greeted is truly impressive. But there is something more: we see a vibrant community that is growing, developing, creating and contributing to the digital age for decades. For us, as guests, this experience is truly transformative. The technologies that support the life of the city are impressive," the head of the foundation added.
