WHO: Azerbaijan made significant progress in fight against COVID-19

"We have seen significant progress in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in Azerbaijan."
Report informs, head of the Health Information Department at the World Health Organization's Europe Office David Novillo Ortiz has said.
According to him, the WHO mission visited the country in March and prepared 58 recommendations.
"About two-thirds of them have been done in full or in part."
David Novillo Ortiz noted that as the pandemic continues, new challenges arise: "Improving epidemiological surveillance, testing strategies and comprehensive data analysis will help make evidence-based decisions, including the implementation of public health interventions."
