WHO: About 90% of coronavirus vaccine falls to share of G20 countries

"Almost 90% of the COVID-19 vaccine used globally falls to the share of Group of Twenty (G20)," Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adanom Ghebreyesus said at the Global Health Summit, Report informs.
"About 90% of the vaccine used in the world was in the G20 countries." The head of the WHO called on the G20 to "urgently fully fund" the international partnership for access to medicines and diagnostics for the coronavirus ACT-Accelerator and" share more doses faster " through the COVAX mechanism.
