What causes allergies in children?

Andrey Belevsky, the chief pulmonologist of the Moscow Department of Health, has named the main causes of allergies in children, Report informs.

The specialist noted in an interview with Govorit Moskva Radio that a typical immunopathological process can be inherited, or develop in the first years of life due to poor living conditions. These problems are relevant for both seasonal and persistent allergic reactions.

A predisposition to allergies may appear if parents smoke in the apartment, the doctor warned.
