Medical tourism study tour to be held in Azerbaijan in spring of 2026

In March 2026, representatives from many countries will come to Azerbaijan to learn about the medical tourism industry, Vugar Gurbanov, executive director of TABIB (Management Union of Medical Territorial Units), said at the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2025), Report informs.

Gurbanov added that ensuring access to medical services for citizens has always been a priority: "New medical services are frequently introduced to citizens in Azerbaijan. The main goal is to ensure the integration of global innovations into the country's healthcare system. Today, a shortage of personnel is one of the main challenges facing the healthcare system not only in Azerbaijan but also globally. In our country, measures are also being taken to prevent this problem."
