Global COVID-19 cases reach 343 million

The number of registered COVID-19 coronavirus infections globally has reached 342,596,024, Report informs, citing the figures of the American Johns Hopkins University.
Since the outset of the spread of the virus worldwide, 5,574,351 people have died.
Countries with the most cases of COVID-19 infection include the United States, India, and Brazil.
The United States ranks first with 69,308,600 COVID-19 infections. The number of deaths stands at 860,248.
Next comes India with 38,566,027 cases and 488,396 deaths.
In third place in terms of the number of cases of COVID-19 is Brazil, where 23,595,178 people were infected with the coronavirus. Of these, 622,476 died.
