Azerbaijan expands drug list for treatment of rare diseases

The list of drugs designed to treat rare diseases Azerbaijan has been expanded.
According to Report, the decision in this regard has been adopted by chairman of the Ministry of Health board, Ogtay Shiraliyev.
Zolgensma, a drug produced by a US company, has been included to the list, raising the number of medications on the list to 108.
Deputy Minister Elsevar Agayev is in charge of implementing the decision.
