Azerbaijan allocates about AZN 1.8 billion for healthcare next year

Health expenditures in the state budget for 2022 will make up AZN 1,788,619,634, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's draft budget for 2022.

Of these expenditures, AZN 1,664,544 were allocated to clinics and dispensaries, AZN 171,143,669 to hospitals, AZN 2,588,726 to applied clinical research, and AZN 1,613,222,695 to health programs and other services.

At the same time, AZN 1,125,674,629 from the funds allocated for health care is intended for the costs of compulsory health insurance at the expense of the state budget and the financing of several state programs and measures in the field of health.
