VP: Türkiye continue to support Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization

Türkiye will continue to support the regional peace process and the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz said on social media after meeting with Azerbaijan's Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev, Report informs via Anadolu Agency.

"We are pleased to further strengthen our cooperation with brotherly Azerbaijan through joint commission meetings. Under the leadership of our esteemed presidents, our relations, which have risen to the level of alliance with the Shusha Declaration, open new horizons in the fields of economy, social policy, and regional cooperation.

After the historic step taken in Washington on August 8, our hopes for lasting peace and stability in the South Caucasus have increased even more. Our goal is to contribute to peace, stability, and prosperity in our region by further strengthening our common development, humanitarian ties, and brotherhood," he stated.

Meanwhile, Anar Aliyev is on a visit to Türkiye. He met with Cevdet Yilmaz at the Presidential Residence. Türkiye's Minister of Labor and Social Protection Vedat Isikhan and Deputy Minister Adnan Ertem also participated in the meeting.
