Vladimir Putin congratulates President Ilham Aliyev on New Year

Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a congratulatory letter to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of the New Year, Report informs referring to the Kremlin press service.
The letter reads that the meetings of the heads of the two states in Moscow and Sochi in the outgoing year fully confirmed the strength of the strategic partnership between Russia and Azerbaijan.
The letter expressed hope for the continuation of constructive dialogue and close joint work to further build up the entire range of Russian-Azerbaijani ties, and this meets the fundamental interests of the peoples of the two states.
