US chargé d'affaires visits Ateshgah Temple in Azerbaijan

Amy Carlon, Chargé d"Affaires of the US Embassy in Azerbaijan, has visited the historic Ateshgah Fire Temple as part of her cultural engagement in the country, Report informs.
According to a post on the embassy's social media account, "Carlon chose the Ateshgah Temple as her very first cultural stop in Azerbaijan - a place that beautifully reflects the spirit of the Land of Fire."
"Standing where history, faith, and tradition meet, she felt the warmth of Azerbaijan's rich cultural heritage and the friendship between our two nations," reads the post.
In a video message from the site, Carlon highlighted her over 20 years of diplomatic service and expressed gratitude for the hospitality shown to her since arriving in Azerbaijan.
"I truly appreciate the warmth and the hospitality that the Azerbaijani people have extended to me since my arrival. Today I'm so happy to be here at Ateshgah for the first time," she said.
