Photo exhibition 'Landmines in Azerbaijan' held in Paris

A photo exhibition titled "Landmines in Azerbaijan" has been held in Paris.

According to Report"s local bureau, the event, organized by the Azerbaijan-France Dialogue Association and the "Gilavar" photo club, took place at the well-known Place de la République and attracted hundreds of visitors.

The exhibition was attended by Gérard Chesnel, Chairman of the French National Commission for Mine Action (CNEMA), Azerbaijan's Ambassador to France Leyla Abdullayeva, as well as French journalists and scholars.

The exhibition featured photographs of victims of landmines planted by Armenia during the occupation of Azerbaijani territories, as well as images showing the lives of people affected by mines after the war, devastated lands, and the daily threats faced by civilians.

The aim of the photo exhibition is to draw attention to the tragic consequences of landmine contamination and to call for its recognition as a war crime.
