New protocol between Azerbaijan and Russia enters into force

President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree approving the "Protocol between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Russian Federation on the mutual application of the electronic system of certification of the origin of goods", Report informs.

The decree states:

"Protocol between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Russian Federation on the mutual application of the electronic system of certification of the origin of goods" signed on March 4, 2022, in Moscow and March 16 in Baku.

The Ministry of Economy and the State Customs Committee shall ensure the implementation of its provisions after the protocol specified in Part 1 of this decree enters into force.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs should notify the Government of Russia that the domestic procedures necessary for the protocol's entry into force have been completed.
