New Ambassador of Pakistan to arrive in Azerbaijan next month

Bilal Haye has been appointed as the new Ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan, Report says, citing the Embassy.
The new head of the diplomatic mission will arrive in Baku on September 9.
His predecessor, Saeed Khan Mohmand, has been in this position been the head of the diplomatic mission since 2016.
Pakistan and Azerbaijan are "strategic partners," and security cooperation between the two countries is enhancing in all fields.
Modern relations between the two states were established when the Azerbaijan republic became independent following the collapse of the USSR – on June 9, 1992. Pakistan was among the first countries to recognize Azerbaijan – on December 12, 1991.
