MFA: Azerbaijan does not recognize so-called elections in Georgia's Tskhinvali region

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has issued a statement on the so-called "presidential elections" in the Tskhinvali region of Georgia.
According to Report, the statement reads:
"The Azerbaijani MFA reaffirms its support for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity and does not recognize the so-called 'presidential elections' held on April 10, 2022, in the Tskhinvali region of Georgia as well as their results. The Foreign Ministry considers it important to continue negotiations for a peaceful settlement of the Tskhinvali issue under the norms and principles of international law."
