MFA announces amount of Azerbaijan's assistance to Türkiye

The amount of humanitarian aid sent by Azerbaijan to the earthquake-hit area of Türkiye has been announced.

Report informs that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan shared this on its Twitter account.

After the devastating earthquake on February 6, Azerbaijan sent Türkiye 867 rescue and medical personnel, 2 mobile field hospitals, 6,872 tents, 4 field kitchens, 899 generators, 239,819 essential items, 318,272 warm clothing, 12,790 heaters and other technical equipment, 183 mobile container homes, 1,412,594 medicine and medical supplies.

In addition, Azerbaijan allocated 24,900,000 AZN ($14,647,058.72) in financial aid to help the brotherly country.

At the same time, ambulances, fire brigades, AFAD, and official search and rescue vehicles were provided with free fuel.

Humanitarian aid was delivered to Türkiye by 15 planes, 25 train cars, and 395 trucks.
