Mexico MFA: Azerbaijan is active, reliable, and constructive partner

Maria Teresa Mercado, Deputy Foreign Minister of Mexico, emphasized that her country sees Azerbaijan as an active, reliable, and constructive partner in the international arena, Report informs.

Mercado made this statement during her speech at the event dedicated to Azerbaijan's Independence Day held at the San Lazaro Legislative Palace.

Azerbaijan's Embassy in Mexico shared on social media that the event was attended by Seymur Fataliyev, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Mexico, the Deputy Foreign Minister, as well as Dulce Maria Villegas Guarneros, head of the Mexico–Azerbaijan Friendship Group and member of parliament.

On behalf of the Mexican Foreign Ministry, the Deputy Minister congratulated the people and government of Azerbaijan on Independence Day, noting that relations based on cooperation, mutual respect, and sovereignty have, for more than 30 years, turned into a strong bridge of friendship between Azerbaijan and Mexico.

In her remarks, Villegas Guarneros highlighted the importance of developing relations between the two countries and expressed confidence that this friendship will grow even stronger in the coming years.
