Khachaturyan: Armenia-Azerbaijan peace to turn South Caucasus into logistics hub

Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan emphasized that establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the implementation of regional projects, will transform the South Caucasus into a logistics hub, Report informs referring to Georgian media.
He was speaking at a joint briefing with his Georgian counterpart, Mikheil Kavelashvili.
Khachaturyan noted that he and Kavelashvili discussed regional issues, the provisions of the peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan, initialed on August 8 in Washington, and the economic agenda.
"Our cooperation, based on sovereignty, identity, and mutual respect, is extremely important. I am confident that establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the implementation of relevant projects, will transform the South Caucasus into a logistics hub. Ensuring prosperity is our shared responsibility, and we will make every effort to further deepen Georgian-Armenian relations," he said.
