Jeyhun Bayramov, Kaja Kallas exchange views on regional security situation

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Kaja Kallas, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission, in the margins of the high-level week of UNGA80 , Report informs.

"We discussed Azerbaijan-EU cooperation, future plans and prospects, as well as the regional security situation. The importance of maintaining regular and high-level exchanges was highlighted as a means of fostering deeper mutual understanding, building trust, and advancing shared interests," Bayramov wrote on X.

They also discussed the outcomes of the recent historic Washington summit and underlined the importance of sustaining momentum and continuing dialogue to resolve the remaining outstanding issues in the peace process.
