Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held talks with Brendan Hanrahan, Senior Officer at the US State Department's Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs.

Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that the agenda of the meeting covered a wide range of issues, including the outcomes of the Washington Summit and the peace process in the South Caucasus.

The parties reviewed the current state of Azerbaijan–US relations and discussed prospects for their further development in the context of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in Washington, which provides for the establishment of a Strategic Partnership Charter, as well as current regional and international security issues.
