President Ilham Aliyev visited abroad seven times last year and met with 12 presidents and three heads of international organizations, Report informs.
The Azerbaijani leader went to Russia four times, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Belgium once.
During these trips, the head of state met with presidents of 12 countries (Turkey, Pakistan, Russia, the Kyrgyz Republic, Turkmenistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Moldova, France, Uzbekistan), heads of three international organizations ( Organization of Turkic States, European Union, NATO), and the prime ministers of two countries (Hungary and Armenia).
These visits and meetings show that Azerbaijan's foreign policy is quite comprehensive, well-thought-out, and multifaceted.
