Hungarian expert: Middle Corridor will bridge East–West, North–South regions

The Middle Corridor will serve as a bridge for both East–West and North–South regions, according to László Vasa, Senior Research Fellow at the Hungarian Institute of International Relations, Report informs.

He made the remark during a panel discussion titled "The OTS' Contribution to Global Economy, Trade, and Transport in Times of Economic Instability," held as part of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) think tank conference in Baku.

Vasa noted that the Middle Corridor represents a platform of stability: "The real strength achieved here is rooted in the historical ties among Turkic states. Cooperation among these countries is evident in areas such as culture, transport, economy, foreign policy, and more. In this sense, the OTS embodies not just an organization, but a family."

The Hungarian representative also expressed his country's readiness to be a bridge to Europe and the European Union.
