First day of Global Baku Forum concludes - UPDATED

The first day of the 13th Global Baku Forum has concluded.
Report informs that President Ilham Aliyev attended and spoke at the opening ceremony of the event held at the Gulustan Palace.
Following the opening, the forum continued with panel sessions.
On the first day of the event, three panels were held dedicated to the topics "Global Security and the Balance of Power: Respect for International Law, New Issues, New Challenges," "Multilateralism in Crisis: A New Vision for Global Cooperation," and "The United Nations at 80."
The first day of the forum concluded after speeches, discussions, and Q&A sessions at the panels.
The international event is organized by the International Nizami Ganjavi Center. Around 400 participants from various countries, including high-ranking politicians, are expected to attend.
The forum aims to promote dialogue and cooperation in order to find solutions to pressing global challenges.
The event will continue until March 14.
It is noteworthy that the Global Baku Forum has been held in Azerbaijan since 2013. Each year, representatives from different countries discuss world developments, global security, balance of power, international law, and other relevant topics.
