Fuad Huseynaliyev: I hope Armenians will quickly realize their mistake

The Azerbaijani side has repeatedly said that Armenian side can use the presence of the EU observer mission on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border as an excuse for committing provocations, Fuad Huseynaliyev, director of the Report News Agency, said on the air of the CBC TV channel.

“It was the Armenians who asked for the deployment of this mission, allegedly for the sake of peace. But no one stands for peace in the region more than Azerbaijan. I hope that our army will respond to this provocation very quickly so that the Armenians understand how wrong such actions were,” said Huseynaliyev.

He added that despite the involvement of outside forces and other actions, Armenia remains incapable of negotiating and is not a supporter of peace.

On April 11, units of the Armenian Armed Forces subjected to intensive fire from small arms the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the Lachin direction from their positions in the direction of the settlement of Dig, Goris region.

Servicemen of the Azerbaijani army Vidadi Zalov, Elshad Hasanov and Sabuhi Tagiyev became martyrs while preventing the Armenian provocation.
