Development of Baku-Tbilisi cooperation discussed

Baku Mayor Eldar Azizov met with Georgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Zurab Pataradze, Report's local bureau informs, referring to Georgian embassy.
Prospects for expanding economic, cultural, humanitarian, and tourism cooperation between Baku and Tbilisi were discussed. The parties also considered the organization of mutual cultural days in the post-pandemic period.
During the discussions, the decision on the twinning of the capital cities was welcomed. The work on the memorandum of understanding is expected to be completed in the near future.
The sides also exchanged views on joint events by the Georgian embassy and the Baku City Government Executive.
