Deputy FM: Armenia has pursued a scorched-earth policy in occupied territories

"Armenia has used a scorched-earth policy in the occupied territories," said Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov at the opening of the Pakistan-Azerbaijan Economic Cooperation Chamber, Report informs.
He recalled that last year Azerbaijan liberated more than 10,000 square kilometers from occupation. "These territories have been under Armenian occupation for about 30 years. They have deliberately demolished every house, public building, infrastructure, school, and hospital in the occupied territories to make it impossible for IDPs to return to those areas. "
