Baku invites Korean companies to invest in renewable energy projects

Deputy Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Orkhan Zeynalov and South Korean Ambassador Kang Kymgu discussed opportunities for cooperation in the energy sector during a meeting in Baku.

According to Report, citing the embassy"s social media statement, "The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Azerbaijan, Kang Kymgu, met with Deputy Minister of Energy Orkhan Zeynalov to discuss opportunities for cooperation in the energy sector between the two countries. Zeynalov provided information on renewable energy projects currently being implemented in Azerbaijan and expressed a desire for Korean companies to participate and invest in these projects."

The diplomat emphasized the importance of exploring and developing projects that the two countries can implement jointly, not only in renewable energy but across all areas of the energy sector.
