Azerbaijani FM congratulates Kazakhstan's new foreign minister

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov made a phone call to the newly appointed Foreign Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yermek Kosherbayev, Report informs, citing the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan.

Minister Bayramov congratulated Yermek Kosherbayev on his appointment as foreign minister and wished him success in his new role.

The ministers expressed satisfaction with the level of strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, emphasizing that high-level contacts and visits between the two countries serve to develop cooperation. Confidence was expressed that joint efforts would continue for the development of the existing multifaceted cooperation between the countries.

The parties highlighted the importance of further strengthening cooperation within regional and international organizations of which both countries are members. Information was provided on preparations for the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) to be held in Gabala in October 2025.

Minister Kosherbayev, in turn, expressed his gratitude for the congratulations and conveyed his confidence that the extensive relations between the two countries would develop further.
