Azerbaijan offers financial support to Lebanon

"The Republic of Azerbaijan will provide financial assistance to Republic of Lebanon to eliminate the consequences of the tragedy," President Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of condolences to Lebanese President Michel Aoun.
A bomb blast near the Lebanese capital, Beirut, killed at least 100 people and injured more than 4,000. According to preliminary data of law enforcement agencies, 2,700 tons of ammonia nitrate - ammonia acid and other substances exploded during welding.
