Azerbaijan participates in UN General Assembly's high-level youth event

An Azerbaijani delegation has taken part in the United Nations General Assembly's high-level youth event.
According to Report, the country was represented by Ulviyya Akhundova, Deputy Head of the Youth Affairs Department at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, during the plenary session dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the World Programme of Action for Youth (WPAY).
The delegation also included Guldana Dadashova, Deputy Chair of National Assembly of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (NAYORA), and Elnur Arifzada from the Goranboy Youth House.
Dadashova spoke at an intergenerational panel titled "Advancing the Implementation of the World Programme of Action for Youth Without Leaving Anyone Behind."
As part of the visit, the representatives also attended various events and meetings held within the framework of the youth festival, exchanging views with international peers on future cooperation opportunities.
The UN General Assembly's high-level youth event brought together member states, ministers, civil society representatives, and young leaders to reflect on 30 years of experience, discuss achievements, and explore pathways for future collaboration.
