Azerbaijan, Greece mull prospects for regular air service

Azerbaijan and Greece have discussed the prospects of expanding regular direct air service to develop bilateral relations, the Greek Embassy in Azerbaijan wrote on Facebook, Report informs.

This issue was discussed during a meeting between Greek Ambassador to Baku Maria Papakonstantinou and Chairman of the Azerbaijan State Tourism Agency Fuad Naghiyev.

During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of maintaining the direct Baku-Heraklion flight, which has been operating for the second year in a row.

It is noted that the launch of regular direct air service between the two countries "will be an important step towards strengthening tourism, economic, and humanitarian ties."
