Azerbaijan-Georgia-Romania-Hungary Working Group was established, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó said on Facebook, Report informs.
According to him, the large-scale plan will help achieve two important goals, which will deliver green electricity to Hungary through Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Romania:
"With this investment, on the one hand, we will further improve our energy security and on the other hand, we will be closer to achieving our climate protection goals. The joint investment is unique because we will lay the world's longest underwater power cable of 1,195 kilometers under the Black Sea. Today, we created the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Romania-Hungary Working Group and assigned it the task of preparing a single feasibility study."
