Azerbaijan, Belarus to hold intergovernmental commission meeting

A delegation led by Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Samir Sharifov has arrived in Belarus.

Report's correspondent dispatched to Minsk informs that the delegation was welcomed at Minsk National Airport by Belarusian officials, as well as Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Belarus Maharram Aliyev.

On the first day of the visit, the delegation visited the Azerbaijan Trade House operating in Minsk. The delegation was informed about the work being done to promote Azerbaijani products in the Belarusian market and expand export opportunities. The delegation viewed the products displayed at the Trade House and showed interest in their promotion and sales prospects in Belarus.

The visit of the delegation led by Sharifov to Belarus will last three days. As part of the visit, the next meeting of the Azerbaijan-Belarus Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation is expected to be held, along with a number of high-level meetings.
