Azerbaijan at UNGA80 raises issue of nearly 4,000 missing persons

During the 80th session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly, an appeal was made in connection with nearly 4,000 missing persons in Azerbaijan, the country's Foreign Ministry wrote on X, Report informs.
"On the sidelines of UNGA80, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov participated in the High-Level Meeting on "Missing Persons in Armed Conflict: Advancing the Search for Answers." In his statement, the deputy minister drew attention to the fate of nearly 4,000 Azerbaijanis missing due to Armenia's aggression, and called for enhanced international efforts to ensure truth and justice," the ministry noted.
