Azerbaijan and Bulgaria sign action plan to implement social protection memorandum

The State Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan (SSPF) has signed an action plan with Bulgaria"s National Institute of Social Insurance to implement their memorandum of understanding for 2025–2026.
According to Report, the Bulgarian news agency BTA reported that the SSPF delegation is currently visiting Sofia, the Bulgarian capital.
During the talks, the sides discussed key issues facing their countries" social protection systems, including challenges and opportunities arising from the development of new technologies.
The delegations also addressed matters related to the enforcement of social security legislation and the effectiveness of measures to combat fraud in the sector.
