Armenia: Deputy Chief of Staff sacked

Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has dismissed Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General Karen Abrahamyan on the recommendation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinya, Report informs, citing Sputnik Armenia.
Until February 2020, Abrahamyan was the "Defense Minister" of the so-called "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic." In June of the same year, he was appointed Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces.
