Ambassador: Dominican Republic supports territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, respects its sovereignty

Dominica supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and respects its sovereignty, Elvis Antonio Alam Lora, Ambassador of Dominica to Azerbaijan and Turkiye, told Report.

Recalling the inviolability of states' territorial integrity and political independence according to international law, the ambassador said that each state should respect the legal subject status of another state: "We respect Azerbaijan and the rights of people living in Azerbaijan. We hope that the issue of restoring permanent peace in the South Caucasus will be resolved diplomatically."

The ambassador noted that there are very good relations between Azerbaijan and the Dominican Republic and he believes that these relations will develop further.
