Portuguese footballer to miss match against Azerbaijan

Portuguese national team footballer Renato Sanches, who plays for French Lille, has sustained an injury.
The 24-year-old halfback will undergo surgery on his knee, Report informs, citing LEquipe.
Sanches will be back on the pitch in September and will miss the matches against Azerbaijan and Ireland in the qualification round of the world championship.
Portugal will host Ireland on September 1 and play Azerbaijan at the Baku Olympic Stadium on September 7.
