Roma head coach Jose Mourinho has set a record in Serie A in Italy, Report informs referring to OptaPaolo.
The 58-year-old Mourinho achieved this at the home match of the 7th round against Empoli, in which his team won with a score of 2:0.
Thus, he sets the record for the longest home unbeaten run in Serie A history, at 42 matches, beating Max Allegri’s record of 41 matches. This is an all-time record since the 1994/1995 season.
The Portuguese head coach worked in Italy’s Inter in 2008-2010.
