AFFA notifies UEFA regarding EURO-2020

The UEFA Executive Committee, on March 17, decided to postpone EURO 2020 tournaments until 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) has officially sent its confirmation to UEFA for hosting four EURO 2020 matches at Baku Olympic Stadium in 2021, Report says.
Relevant legal documents will be sent to UEFA by April 30.
Baku Olympic Stadium will host three matches of Group A, and one of 1/4 final round of EURO 2020. The squads of Turkey, Switzerland, and Wales will compete in Group A matches in Baku.
