WTO postpones first ministerial conference in 4 years due to pandemic

The World Trade Organization (WTO) has postponed its 12th Ministerial Conference, which was to be held in Geneva from November 30 to December 3, WTO Deputy Director-General Anabel Gonzalez tweeted, Report informs.
“WTO MC12 has been postponed. The full membership is behind the decision of the General Council Chair Dacio Castillo and Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. Health, fairness and inclusiveness informed the call. It is the right decision. Work will and must continue,” she wrote.
