Azerbaijan's foreign exchange incomes from oil and gas exports in the first five months of this year were equal for the first time in history, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for Economic Policy, Industries and Enterprising Tahir Mirkishili said during the discussion of the updated draft law "On the state budget of Azerbaijan for 2022", Report informs.
According to him, this is also due to the jump in gas prices:
"In the balance of payments, oil revenues in the first three months of this year were close to $ 3.8 billion, but gas export revenues were close to $ 3.5 billion."
