Tahir Budagov: Azerbaijan outlines targets for national statistical system

Targets for Azerbaijan's national statistical system have been outlined in the new state program for 2026–2030, Chairman of the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan Tahir Budagov said, Report informs.

Budagov shared this insight at the 3rd CIS International Statistical Forum held in Baku under the theme "Prospects of Statistics: International Projects."

He noted that the program's priorities focus on strengthening national statistical capacity by leveraging international experience: "It includes contributing to the enhancement of the international methodological framework based on advanced national practices, and expanding statistical innovation through the application of modern information and communication technologies. To this end, the Committee actively cooperates with numerous international organizations and relevant institutions from foreign countries."
