State budget earnings from customs authorities up by 6%

From January through August 2021, budget receipts through the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (SCC) amounted to 2.81 billion manats ($1.65 billion).
Report informs citing the SCC that this figure is 6.2% higher than in the same period last year.
Over the past year, earnings from customs duties increased by 17.7% to 762.459 million manats ($448.77 million), from value-added tax (VAT) decreased by 1.6% to 1.913 billion manats ($1.12 billion), from excise taxes increased by 18.3% to 106.388 million manats ($62.61 million), and the earnings from road tax went up by 16.4% to 28.102 million manats ($16.54 million).
