Share of oil - gas sector in foreign direct investments increases

In 2020, the volume of foreign direct investment in the Azerbaijani economy amounted to $4.5 billion, Report informs citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
According to the bank, this figure is 4.7% higher than in 2019.
In 2020, the share of the oil and gas sector in investments amounted to 86.6%, which is 8.3 percentage points more than a year ago.
