Sahil Babayev: 2025 budget ensures growth, social commitments

Azerbaijan's 2025 state budget was executed in line with the country's development priorities, principles of financial sustainability, and the complete fulfillment of social commitments, Finance Minister Sahil Babayev said at an extraordinary session of the parliament during a discussion of the draft law "On the Execution of the 2025 State Budget," Report informs.

He stated that despite the ongoing uncertainty in the global economy, the country ensured macroeconomic stability, economic growth, and consistent implementation of key public policy guidelines.

Babayev noted that the budget contributed to economic growth, the fulfillment of social commitments, and the restoration of liberated territories.

He also emphasized that in recent years, thanks to a successful foreign policy, Azerbaijan's international position has strengthened and its role in ensuring peace, security, and cooperation in the region has increased.
